THE RIGHT OF EVERY
HUMAN BEING
"But to all who accepted Jesus, to those who believed in His name, I gave the right to become children of God."
John 1:12
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights begins with :
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood… Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the security of person".
Yet, do we forget an essential right ?… The right to know God and to become His children through faith in Jesus Christ. The greatest injustice is to let someone live and die without giving them the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Having a personal relationship with the Lord is the most fundamental need for every human being.
How do we demonstrate this great right to the whole world ?
Sharing the Good News of the Lord Jesus with every inhabitant of our planet is the fundamental mission of all christians.
Responding to God's direction, the Association "L’Espoir des îles" burns with this burden for the inhabitants of the distant
and neglected islands of the South Pacific.
